Formalism is a one-man project from Lyon (France). Composition, arrangements and production are self-made. "Hermetic Thoughts" includes ten tracks which combine house, techno, with a few touches of dance or even trance. Each piece tells a particular story; each one is built around a few sound pillars which encourage movement, thought, time and even contemplation despite the typical tech/house rhythmic sequences.

I'm not trying to make "dancing" music, but rather to use the classical resources of electronics to compose my own sound universe. I hope you enjoy these tracks, which I chose to broadcast under this album via Artik Records.
